Good News Update on Chardon Hills Attendance...
Last year during the first quarter we were at 16% chronic absenteeism as a building. This year we went up a bit to 18%.
This quarter (2nd) through the first 10 days on is down to 12%.
We are the lowest in the district for the year so far.
Keep it up PANTHERS! 💪🏼🐆

Reminder:
No school due to professionally development for staff.
We will see everyone on Wednesday.

As the principal of the school, Mrs. Stinchcomb prioritizes curriculum and instruction.
She is constantly in rooms observing and giving feedback to our staff on best practices.
This is very important to her as the instructional leader!

In 4th grade STEM class, students explore the concepts of conductors and insulators by building simple circuits.
Using batteries, wires, bulbs, and various materials, they learn how electricity flows through conductors like metal while being blocked by insulators like rubber and wood.
Students test different materials, make observations, and discuss their findings, fostering critical thinking and collaboration.
This engaging experiment reinforces their understanding of basic electrical principles while encouraging curiosity and problem-solving skills.
