The applesauce was DELICIOUS! 🍎🦃

Fifth graders got to reminisce about their fourth grade field trip from last year when they celebrated honeybee education day last May.
This morning several individuals from the organization came and did a mini lesson a to teach students the importance of honeybees and how they improve our agriculture and food and how important they are to our ecosystem and how they are an example of symbiosis in ecosystems.
As a culminating treat, the students were served a buttered toast and honey breakfast by some of our own Euclid high school CTE program students who are in the agricultural program.

Students in Mrs. Hickman’s class have been working to decompose shapes in different ways using pattern blocks.
We love seeing our Panthers using Manipulatives! :) 🐆

In 5th grade we are building thinking classrooms.
In social studies fifth graders are learning about the different regions in the United States, the states within these regions, and their unique characteristics.
We LOVE seeing the cooperative learning with our Panthers! ✍️🐆

What a special morning celebrating our Veterans!
Our student council students and advisors, Ms. Nelson and Ms. Fullerman, organized and presented our Veterans Day assembly for the entire school.
Our kids were so well behaved. The Euclid ROTC was awesome and our guest speaker, Jackson Greenway, spoke beautifully. Such a great speech.
We appreciate all our Veterans in attendance this morning and we thank them for their service!

The students in Mrs. Hickman’s class worked together to create a Thanksgiving quilt as part of their Bridges math lesson.
The purpose of the lesson was to explore shapes and repeating patterns using quilt blocks. A
fun and engaging learning experience was had by all!

We can't wait for our Veterans Day program on Monday!
We are excited to hear from our guest speaker: Jackson Greenway, a rising junior and former CHSS student.

As a culminating activity for their ecosystems unit, fifth graders combined stem, art, and science to each design and create a new organism that doesn’t already exist.
After creating their new organism, they had to classify what type of organism it was, describe its ecosystem, its special adaptations, and determine whether it would be considered a predator or a prey in its environment.

Congrats to Mrs. Bizily's Kindergarten class for having the BEST ATTENDANCE for the month of October!
Her class was as rewarded with the attendance cart prizes!
They were all excited to select a prize!
This is part of our PBIS initiative and part of our ONE plan goal of IMPROVED attendance for our building!
Keep it up PANTHERS! Let's see who WINS this month!! :)

More pictures for our 2nd Grade CKLA Greek Unit "closing ceremonies!"
