LOCKDOWN LIFTED all students have been dismissed. The EPD has informed the district that the situation is contained and under control.

We have been informed that there is an ongoing Police incident taking place in the 700 block of E. 250th St. Euclid Schools buses will not drop off any student within a two-street radius of that area until the situation has been resolved. Students with a drop-off location inside that radius will remain on their bus until we have received an ALL-CLEAR from Euclid Police.

Extraordinary Teacher Spotlight
Euclid Schools teachers are Extraordinary! This week we are highlighting Jessica Jacobs, First Grade Teacher at Shoreview Elementary, Tracy Kondrit, ELA Teacher at Euclid Middle School and Julia Dolce.
Ms. Jacobs has been an educator in Euclid Schools for 21 years. The most rewarding part of her job is seeing the light bulb go off when a student grasps a lesson during class. Ms. Jacobs loves when past students come back to visit and share their successes. "No matter how old they get, they will always be my students and I will always be there for them," she said. When she is not in the classroom, Ms. Jacobs loves spending time with her family, reading, jet skiing, and traveling. Ms. Jacobs enjoys a Young Adult dystopian fiction books like "The Hunger Games", and classics like Agatha Christie's, "And Then There Were None" and Alexandre Dumas', "The Count of Monte Cristo." However, she is most passionate about mysteries. She is currently reading "It Ends with Us" by Colleen Hoover.
The administration at Shoreview Elementary enjoys having Ms. Jacobs as part of their team. "Ms. Jacobs is a phenomenal teacher. Her morning meetings are exciting, and she gets students excited about learning. Her classroom environment supports student learning and her enthusiasm is unmatched," said Dr. Bailey, Shoreview Elementary Principal.
