We hope that all of Euclid students, families and staff have a nice long weekend in observance of Labor Day. #OneEuclid

Next week is Attendance Week! Student success starts with attendance and engaged learning and that’s what next week is all about! The Euclid Schools have partnered with The Cleveland Browns Foundation to help our Students “Stay in the Game” and to “Keep Learning, Every Day.” in order to prioritize attendance and tackle chronic absenteeism. To help get our Euclid Students motivated and excited about attendance, we ask that our families participate in our Attendance Spirit Week. Check out the themes for each day. #OneEuclid #EveryStudentEveryLessonEveryDay

As you prepare for the first day of school this evening, please double-check your Infinite Campus Parent Portal this evening to make sure you know when to get your student to their bus stop, help your student prepare to meet their teacher and view any messages from your principal
For our Elementary families, please remember that the school day instruction starts at 8:00 AM.
At the Middle School tomorrow, Mr. Mennel and the staff will welcome back 6th Grade students only.
The Freshman Class will begin the first day of their High School careers tomorrow with Mr. Russel and the High School staff.
Please make sure you’re checking your email and Infinite Campus parent portal often so you don’t miss any information throughout the year from your school and from the district.
We are looking forward to seeing your families, but most importantly your children at school this week. Wishing everyone a fabulous school year!

We have recently become aware of a social media post shared this morning regarding our marching band. The district has been fortunate to have allocated roughly $50,000.00 to the band for equipment in the last three years. The Euclid Schools Foundation donated the funds through grants for new percussion equipment and brass instruments. Our students in the band have what they need to continue their success experienced during the last several years. The band is fortunate to have traveled to and hosted many competitions over the previous two years. If you were to enter the high school's main entrance, the trophies and awards welcome any visitor to our high school.
The district will continue to support the music and arts departments just as we support all of our student programs. Our goal is to ensure equal opportunities for all students in the district to explore their interests and determine their paths and interests. We understand that a student will get out of the programs what they put into them. The band has accomplished incredible achievements through hard work and persistence, made possible by the opportunities and resources the Board of Education is pleased to provide. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about the Euclid Schools Foundation, please contact the board office at (216) 261-2900 or visit the foundation website https://euclidschoolsfoundation.org/ to learn more about how they support our district.
Unfortunately, though we appreciate the community's good intentions, the original post's details are inaccurate. The Euclid City Schools are committed to transparency. If you have any questions regarding anything in the district, always feel free to contact a building principal, any Director at the Fordyce Administration Building, or a member of the Board of Education.

It is officially time to head back to school! We are eagerly anticipating students arrival filling the halls with smiling faces! School starts on Tuesday, August 15th for our 9th graders and Wednesday, August 16th for all of our students. Find out arrival times by visiting the link below. We look forward to seeing our students on Tuesday and Wednesday! https://www.euclidschools.org/article/1193258

Check it out! Two Panther alums were recently featured on Cleveland.com for their groundbreaking careers in Astronomy. Both attribute some of their out-of-this-world success to Euclid High School Science Teacher Matt Young.
Euclid High School is one of less than 350 schools in the country to have a functional planetarium. Students from all over the district get the opportunity to visit Mr. Young at the planetarium throughout the year to help develop an early love of space and science!
