The Lady Panthers Track & Field team had a standout day at the Mentor Relays, placing 4th overall out of 14 competitive teams and turning in several impressive performances across the board.
The team’s momentum was led by a 1st Place victory in the 4x200 Meter Relay, clocking in at an outstanding 1:46.2. Other gold-medal performances included a 1st Place finish in the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 59.18 seconds, and another team win in the 4x400 Meter Relay, crossing the line at 4:20.3.
In hurdles, the Panthers showed their strength with a 2nd Place finish in the 100 Meter Hurdles (17.22 seconds) and a 3rd Place finish in the 300 Meter Hurdles (49.2 seconds), rounding out an impressive list of top-three finishes.
Beyond the podium, several Lady Panthers posted personal bests, showing continued growth and promise for the remainder of the season:
Chariyon Zeigler threw a personal best of 30 feet in the Shot Put.
Asia Wilkerson launched the discus 83 feet, her best mark of the season.
In the 800 Meter Run, Shyeil Love (3:04), Mikayla Marshall (3:00), and Shania Malone (3:14) all delivered their strongest races yet.
Coach Nosse and team supporters praised each athlete's effort, sportsmanship, and drive throughout the meet. With continued focus and teamwork, the Lady Panthers are poised for even greater success as the season progresses.
