Panthers going in Red Zone in their game at Cleveland Central Catholic on March 30th 2025

The Euclid Girls Flag Football program delivered an electrifying performance this past Sunday at Cleveland Central Catholic, with both the Varsity and Junior Varsity squads going undefeated and showcasing the true spirit of teamwork, effort, and competitive excellence.

Varsity Squad Dominates the Field

The Varsity team came out strong, notching two commanding victories:

Euclid 31 – Cleveland Heights 12

Euclid 38 – Glenville 6

Leading the charge was quarterback Ania Romani, who showed incredible poise and leadership, delivering accurate touchdown passes, smart handoffs, and excellent control of the offense.

Arreah Loper was unstoppable, racking up three touchdowns, multiple interceptions, and even a pick-6, playing with intensity and heart on every snap.

Charlize “Nana” Lipford powered through with two touchdowns and aggressive flag-pulling on defense, helping set the tone for the team’s physical play.

Emari proved to be an incredible leader on both sides of the ball, contributing two touchdowns and several key interceptions, constantly energizing her teammates.

Delilah added spark with two explosive long-run touchdowns, while Nia and Leshawn each brought huge momentum plays—Nia with a thrilling full-field touchdown run and Leshawn (“Cuzzo”) carving up the defense for crucial yards.

Armoni anchored the defense as a relentless rusher, putting pressure on opposing quarterbacks throughout the day.

Junior Varsity Squad Steps Up Big

The JV Panthers also went 2-0, showing incredible growth, teamwork, and enthusiasm:

Euclid 12 – Cleveland Central Catholic 6

Euclid 38 – Notre Dame Cathedral Latin 0

Joi led the offense as an amazing quarterback, mastering the plays quickly and throwing confident passes to keep the team moving.

Ajalia Lipford impressed with her catching skills and aggressive play, always ready to compete. Trysten brought her competitive edge, always looking to make the big play downfield.

Yoni kept spirits high with her positive energy and consistent hustle on the field. On defense, Paris and Armoni were standout flag pullers and rushers, making sure the opposing teams couldn’t gain momentum.

Both squads demonstrated Panther pride, discipline, and growth—proving that Euclid Girls Flag Football is a force to be reckoned with. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see what this talented group accomplishes next!
