The Euclid High School Varsity Chorale has once again proven that dedication, talent, and teamwork lead to excellence. Competing against top choirs from West Virginia and Ohio, Euclid "VC" dominated the stage at Walsh Jesuit High School on February 1, 2025, earning the title of Overall Grand Champion, along with awards for Best Vocals and Best Choreography. Their outstanding performance also secured 1st place in their division, the People’s Choice Award, and a Silver Rating, further cementing their reputation as one of the region’s top-performing ensembles.
A Culture of Excellence
Varsity Chorale’s success is built on a strong foundation of musicality, precision, and passion for performance. This competition was an opportunity for students to showcase their hard work and dedication in an environment that values artistic growth and creative expression. Beyond the trophies and titles, Euclid VC remains committed to its mission: creating a safe, educational, and supportive arts environment where everyone can thrive.
A Team Effort
This achievement would not have been possible without the vision and leadership of the VC creative team. Under the direction of Danielle Witwer, with Landon LaMontagne as assistant director, and the dynamic choreography of Steffahn Maclin and Gabbi Mack, the students delivered a performance that was both technically exceptional and emotionally powerful.
Bringing Panther Pride to the Stage
The competition at Walsh Jesuit High School showcased not only the students’ immense talent but also their commitment to representing Euclid High School with pride and professionalism. Their ability to captivate the audience and judges alike speaks to the culture of excellence that defines the Euclid Varsity Chorale.
This victory is only the beginning of what promises to be an incredible season for VC. Stay tuned for more performances, and join us in celebrating the hard work and success of these dedicated performers.
Congratulations, Euclid VC—Grand Champions once again!
