On Wednesday, December 4, students in our Junior Transition Center (JTC) were greeted with a delightful holiday surprise that highlighted the spirit of giving and collaboration. Nicholas Selvaggio, a valued member of our school community, generously brought in Christmas-themed donuts from Krispy Kreme to the Memorial Options Center.
The festive treats were not only a gesture of appreciation but also a reward for the students’ hard work and dedication. Earlier, Mr. Selvaggio had tasked the JTC students with laundering the Criminal Justice coats, providing them a valuable opportunity to put their vocational skills into practice. The combination of hands-on learning and a festive surprise created a meaningful moment for these students, showcasing the importance of skill-building and recognition in education.
We are grateful to Mr. Selvaggio for his thoughtful contribution and to our JTC students for their commitment to excellence. Moments like these remind us of the power of community and the joy of celebrating achievements together.
