This morning, Alenka Jerak, Slovenian Consulate General and members from the Ohio State Beekeepers Association taught our 6th graders about the importance of bees and the impact have on the environment. Students also learned about the history of Traditional Slovenian Honey Breakfast. Afterwards, students enjoyed a traditional Slovenian honey breakfast, complimentary of the Euclid Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Club. Students from the Urban Agriculture program were also there to help our presenters.
