About ChanceLight Euclid
About ChanceLight
ChanceLight Education was founded based on the core belief that education can transform students’ lives. We have developed and refined our alternative and special education solutions for disconnected and vulnerable students who need a different educational setting. Working in partnership with districts and families for 45 years, we have changed the direction of more than 240,000 students’ lives.
During World War II, pilots in difficulty could request a powerful light at the end of the runway to help guide them safely home. That powerful light was called a Chance Light. School districts and families often turn to us in situations of difficulty, and we can provide guidance and hope just like that light at the end of the runway.
ChanceLight at Euclid
In 2022, the Euclid Schools partnered with ChanceLight Education to provide an alternative educational option for students that may need instructional and/or behavioral assistance. These practices help to establish a safe, trusting place for students so district goals are met and students can achieve their individual accomplishments. The goal of ChanceLight at Euclid is to remove existing barriers and reconnecting disconnected students to help students find success in the classroom and eventually reintegrate back to a more traditional classroom setting.
Our Curriculum
The curriculum follows the same state standards that all Euclid Schools adhere to, while providing a more individualized approach to student achievement and behavioral health.
Our Expectations
As we develop as a school, our expectations are growing and establishing.
