Superintendent's Office
Welcome to Euclid Schools, where every Panther is United as One Euclid

Superintendent's Message
At Euclid Schools, our responsibility is clear: to ensure every student is prepared for what comes next—college, career, and life.
That preparation requires more than strong academics alone. It calls for learning experiences that build critical thinking, adaptability, collaboration, and confidence—skills that will serve our students in an ever-changing world.
As we look ahead, we will engage our students, staff, families, and community in a strategic planning process to define a shared vision for the future of Euclid Schools. Together, we will identify what we want our graduates to know, be able to do, and who we want them to become—and align our work to make that vision a reality.
In the meantime, our focus remains steady:
Providing high-quality, standards-aligned instruction
Creating safe, supportive, and engaging learning environments
Expanding meaningful opportunities and pathways for all students
Strengthening communication and partnership with families and our community
This work will require focus, alignment, and a willingness to make thoughtful, student-centered decisions. I am committed to leading with clarity and purpose as we move forward together.
Euclid Schools has a strong foundation and a community that cares deeply about its students. That gives us both the responsibility and the opportunity to build something even stronger—together.

About Superintendent Brown
Karen Brown has dedicated her career to Euclid Schools, bringing nearly three decades of experience as an educator and leader committed to expanding opportunities and improving outcomes for students.
She began her career as an English teacher at Euclid High School before transitioning into school counseling where she developed a strong focus on helping students connect their high school experiences to future success. That work continues to shape her leadership, grounded in the belief that every student should graduate with a clear plan and the skills to pursue it.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Brown has led efforts to expand access and remove barriers for students. As Coordinator of Career Technical Education and Post-Secondary Enrollment Options, she helped transform access to college coursework by expanding College Credit Plus offerings on Euclid’s campus—significantly increasing student participation. She also played a key role in strengthening Career Technical Education programming, resulting in the launch of multiple new pathways aligned to workforce needs, including programs in Automation and Robotics, Allied Health, and Welding.
Since joining the district’s central office in 2016, Mrs. Brown has led strategic initiatives focused on building systems that better support students and staff. Her work has included establishing the first preschool fab lab in the nation at the Early Learning Village, launching the programs at Memorial Options Center to expand educational options for students, and guiding district wide efforts to improve student outcomes. Under her leadership, the district achieved a double-digit increase in graduation rates over a two-year period and reduced PK–3 suspensions by more than 80%, reflecting a shift toward more supportive and developmentally appropriate practices.
As Assistant Superintendent since 2020, she helped lead the district through a period of significant change while continuing to expand educational pathways and strengthen systems across Euclid Schools. She was appointed Superintendent in April 2026.
A longtime Euclid resident, Mrs. Brown is deeply connected to the community she serves. She values strong relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners, and is committed to building a school system where every student is known, supported, and fully prepared for what comes next.
My focus will be on creating educational experiences that help our students grow, prepare them for an ever-changing future, and instill in them the confidence to know they belong in whatever spaces they choose to occupy. More importantly, I want them to know they are prepared to lead in those spaces, in part because of the education and support they received in Euclid Schools.
